Gerald D. Heilner, II, bass trombone
Jerry works at the Elizabethtown office of the Weaver Insurance Group. A founding member of the Lancaster Brass Quintet, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance and Pedagogy from Millersville State College. Jerry has studied trombone with William A. Grove, Dr. Sy Brandon, and Hal Janks, bass trombone of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra (retired). Jerry is presently bass trombonist of the York Symphony Orchestra, the Lancaster Trombone Quartet, the Susquehanna Slide Express and the Buzz Jones Big Band. He has also performed with OperaLancaster and other local groups on a freelance basis. Jerry lives in Elizabethtown with his wife Lisa.
